Senior Software Engineer (Applied AI)

About the Company

Traba is the AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain. We are building applied AI that drives real productivity gains and transforms how the global supply chain operates at scale, backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.

Responsibilities

• Apply existing agents and frontier models across the stack to automate vetting, matching, and fulfillment
• Lead frontend and backend development and mentor other engineers
• Architect and build core systems including real-time matching, autonomous vetting pipelines, and distributed systems
• Own product surfaces end to end, partnering closely with product and design

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across frontend and backend development
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React/React Native, and Node.js or Python
• Strong experience with APIs, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and messaging (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into real products via prompting, tool wiring, and evals
• Proven track record of shipping scalable products in fast-paced, early-stage environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience moving between API design, UX, and deployment infrastructure
• Ability to prioritize high-impact problems regardless of whether they are AI-centric
