Senior Software Engineer (Applied AI)

Responsibilities

• Apply existing agents and frontier models across the stack—including the worker app, business app, and ops platform—to automate vetting, matching, and fulfillment.
• Lead frontend and backend development while mentoring other engineers.
• Architect and build core systems such as real-time matching, autonomous vetting pipelines, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Own product surfaces end-to-end, partnering closely with product and design teams to solve high-priority problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack experience across frontend and backend development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React/React Native, and Node.js or Python.
• Strong expertise with APIs, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into real products, including prompting, tool wiring, and evaluations.
• Proven track record of shipping scalable products in fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying scalable, performant applications from frontend interfaces to backend distributed systems.
• Ability to move easily between API design, UX, and deployment infrastructure.
