Senior Software Engineer, App Platform

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable backend platform infrastructure, abstractions, and tooling
• Build and optimize distributed systems for rapid application development and deployment
• Architect and implement plugin systems and extensibility frameworks
• Create and maintain cross-platform desktop application infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Design and implement robust authentication and authorization systems
• Engage with external customers to gather feedback on platform capabilities
• Document platform features, APIs, and best practices
• Implement comprehensive observability solutions including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing
• Monitor platform performance and participate in on-call rotations

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in a software engineer role at a technology company
• 12+ months of experience with Python, Golang, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, Flask, Node.js/Express.js, PostgreSQL/MySQL, React.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, GitHub, OAuth 2.0, and Load Balancing
