Senior Software Engineer - Android

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of Android features, from ideation to release and iteration
• Build and maintain intuitive, high-performing UIs using Jetpack Compose
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and backend engineers to shape user-centric solutions
• Make architectural decisions that support fast product iteration and long-term scalability
• Mentor and support other Android engineers to raise overall team quality
• Contribute to improving development workflows, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous reviews, testing, and best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional Android development experience
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development
• Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt
• Proficiency in integrating REST APIs and handling networking concerns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
• Strong testing practices, including unit and UI testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping user-facing Android applications at scale
• Familiarity with tools like Retrofit, OkHttp, Room, and DataStore
• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed and quality
• A product mindset with a focus on delivering user value and business impact
