Senior Software Engineer (Android)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Android applications and libraries for the Ledger and Recon Platform
• Work closely with internal business teams and product management to define requirements and technical specifications
• Act as a core contributor owning the full-cycle product development process
• Collaborate with Architects to refactor code and design for optimal maintainability, extensibility, and reusability
• Promote robust, maintainable code with high test coverage and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of professional Android development experience building production applications
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the ability to read and understand Java codebases
• Deep knowledge of Android architecture components and Jetpack libraries
• Experience with modern development approaches including Compose, MVVM, Coroutines, and Flow
• Strong foundation in software design principles and mobile design patterns
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining Android SDK libraries or frameworks
• Familiarity with cross-platform technologies such as React Native or Flutter
• Previous working experience in the payments or fintech industry
