Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from design and requirements to production
• Drive system reliability by identifying performance bottlenecks and scalability gaps
• Debug complex production issues independently using logs and metrics
• Design resilient systems that handle partial failures, retries, and API unreliability
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural design discussions
• Ensure seamless data integration with third-party CRM systems
• Maintain and improve system uptime and payment/communication systems

Requirements

• 3–4 years of full-time software engineering experience
• Hands-on backend development experience in Java, Python, or Go
• Frontend development experience using React or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and client–server architecture
• Experience designing data models and writing complex SQL queries
• Proven ability to build and own distributed systems or microservices in production
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and caching strategies
• Experience building async or background processing systems
• Proficiency with Git, testing, and code reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Redis for rate limiting, caching, or queuing
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Sentry, or Prometheus
• Exposure to database sharding, partitioning, or replication
• Experience with message queues or event-driven architecture (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ, SQS)
• Prior experience in a SaaS product environment
• Experience designing reconciliation mechanisms for third-party integrations
