Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust services powering lending and credit products
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, and well-documented APIs for client integration
• Lead design reviews, advise on systems architecture, and mentor engineers to uphold high code quality
• Champion resilient, distributed systems design to ensure global enterprise-scale reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful lending solutions
• Promote automated testing, code review, and monitoring practices to ensure platform stability
• Drive improvements in platform architecture, engineering practices, and delivery efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with modern engineering practices
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role, including mentoring and engineering strategy execution
• Strong backend systems experience with proficiency in Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Extensive experience designing and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures
• Proven track record with high-throughput, low-latency, highly available distributed systems
• Cloud experience with GCP (preferred) or AWS
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools like Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS product offerings as a platform
