Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core backend services, APIs, and microservices for AI model leverage
• Build scalable frameworks for multi-step agent workflows, task decomposition, and persistent memory
• Develop robust evaluation systems to measure reasoning quality and hallucination rates
• Architect high-performance serving infrastructure with guarantees on latency and throughput
• Ensure comprehensive monitoring, structured logging, and distributed tracing for AI models
• Partner with product managers and designers to build self-serve infrastructure
• Advocate for engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across frontend, backend, and data layers
• Hands-on experience integrating and orchestrating LLMs and agents
• Experience building and scaling AI-native systems in production
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, vector search, and prompt engineering
• Excellent debugging and technical investigation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating in asynchronous remote environments
• Ability to iterate quickly in ambiguous environments
