Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform

Our mission is to democratize robotics by lowering the barrier to entry through a plug-and-play platform for developers, researchers, and enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy production-grade AI agents including multi-step reasoning pipelines and multi-agent coordination
• Build agent harnesses for context management, tool definitions, memory, and observability
• Engineer context pipelines using dynamic retrieval, re-ranking, and GraphRAG
• Implement production-grade reliability including retry logic, cost controls, and structured output validation
• Develop systematic evaluation frameworks and observability traces to measure agent quality
• Architect and implement scalable backend services and APIs in Go, Rust, or TypeScript/Node.js
• Build clean, functional web interfaces in React/Next.js for operator dashboards and engineering tooling
• Treat prompt engineering as a first-class engineering discipline with rigorous testing and versioning

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong command of Python and/or TypeScript at a production level
• Backend depth in Go, Rust, or TypeScript/Node.js including REST/GraphQL and PostgreSQL
• Frontend proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for service deployment
• Proven hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered systems or AI agents in production
• Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of context engineering, GraphRAG, and hybrid search
• Experience with durable execution patterns like Temporal
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector
• Background in robotics, industrial automation, or IoT
• Experience designing multi-tenant platforms or internal developer platforms
• Familiarity with AI security, prompt injection risks, and sandboxed execution
