Senior Software Engineer, AI

Responsibilities

• Design and develop agentic workflows that help users manage loyalty programs through chat, wallet surfaces, and personalized recommendations
• Build reliable LLM-powered flows featuring structured outputs, tool calling, guardrails, and monitoring for customer-facing use cases
• Own agent and workflow quality by creating scenario tests, adversarial evals, and quality metrics to ensure safe behavior around PII and financial data
• Integrate across the full stack, including frontend, backend, and AI orchestration layers such as wallet APIs and streaming chat experiences
• Transform loyalty data, membership tiers, and trip context into actionable recommendations and next-best actions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to ship polished, measurable customer experiences

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience building production systems
• Hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, agentic systems, or ML-powered products
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Python, or similar backend engineering stacks
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, async workflows, and production debugging
• Familiarity with AI safety patterns including guardrails, hallucination prevention, and PII-sensitive workflows
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with travel, loyalty programs, personalization, or fintech products
• Experience building RAG-like systems or complex tool-calling workflows in production
