Senior Software Engineer (AI Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Work on LLM-powered microservices that integrate Suki products with top health systems
• Build features and services that securely retrieve relevant records and decisioning criteria
• Advance technical direction of EMR integration efforts to standardize and scale the platform
• Build systems that bring Ambient Clinical Intelligence (ACI) to thousands of clinicians

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on application backend services
• Recent experience building and maintaining ML/AI driven applications
• Strong working knowledge of LLMs, including prompting, orchestration, RAG, context, and cost management
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python
• Experience with scaled distributed systems using microservices, protobufs, and gRPC
• Experience with containerization and scaling services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience taking product technical design from inception to production
• Strong grasp of CS fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with health systems and EHRs
