Senior Software Engineer (AI Agents)

Responsibilities

• Build production agent systems on top of frontier LLMs, including tool use, sub-agents, and orchestration layers
• Design and ship agent harnesses that automate complex supply chain workflows
• Own evaluation as a first-class discipline by building datasets, rubrics, and graders from real traces
• Architect and build the data, services, and APIs required for the agent layer, integrating with WMS, TMS, and ERP environments
• Embed with customers and operators to translate industrial operational needs into durable product features
• Codify repeatable deployment patterns to ensure fast and reliable customer rollouts

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 1+ year of experience shipping LLM or agent-based features into production
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL and designing distributed systems or data models
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks (e.g., Langfuse, Braintrust)
• Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous, or early-stage environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a vertical AI, AI-agent, or data-product company
• Familiarity with agent orchestration patterns and frontier model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI)
• Ability to move fluidly between prompt iteration, backend services, and data modeling
