Senior Software Engineer (AI Agents)

Responsibilities

• Join the founding Agents team to build an agentic platform that automates industrial supply chain workflows using frontier LLMs.
• Design and ship production agent harnesses, including tool use, sub-agents, retrieval, and orchestration layers.
• Own evaluation as a first-class discipline by building datasets from real traces, writing rubrics, and running experiments.
• Architect and build the data, services, and APIs the agent layer depends on, integrating with internal systems and customer WMS, TMS, and ERP environments.
• Embed with customers and operators to understand supply chain operations and translate field learnings into durable product features.
• Codify repeatable deployment patterns to ensure fast and reliable customer rollouts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 1+ year of experience shipping LLM or agent-based features into production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and data models in PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering at scale and evaluation frameworks (e.g., Langfuse, Braintrust).
• Experience working with frontier model APIs such as Anthropic and OpenAI.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at an early-stage vertical AI, AI-agent, or data-product company.
• Background in FDE-style roles (e.g., Palantir, Scale AI).
• Deep interest in industrial operations and applied AI.
