Senior Software Engineer, Advertising Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, highly performant, real-time advertising applications
• Own the building of new features in direct collaboration with product and other engineering teams
• Act as an evangelist for best practices across development, QA, and infrastructure/ops functions
• Drive platform innovation and reuse to support a rapidly expanding ad business
• Deliver top-quality software in a timely fashion while mentoring other team members

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale and low-latency distributed systems
• Command of Java or C++
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, and multi-threading
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed caching
• Experience with Big Data and cloud services such as AWS or GCP
• Previous experience within the advertising domain
• AI growth mindset and AI literacy
