Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop resilient distributed services and high-quality tooling to support product operations and engineering
• Investigate and debug complex issues that span across multiple teams and applications
• Drive software delivery and improve engineering processes for development and release cycles
• Work across the organization to enable seamless data flow across global platforms

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend software engineering
• Proficiency in developing with server-side OO languages, specifically Java
• Proficiency with Linux environments
• Familiarity with REST and web APIs
• Familiarity with infrastructure components including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and containers
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code

• Ability to work independently with a strong bias for action
• Experience thriving in ambiguous environments without clear-cut solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to dig into new problems and unfamiliar codebases effectively
