Senior Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of products within a metadata-driven environment
• Collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers on functional design and requirement analysis
• Build and maintain robust, efficient, and maintainable code using object-oriented frameworks and class modeling
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues to ensure system reliability
• Mentor team members through pair programming, code reviews, and technical guidance

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required for this role
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one)
• 8+ years of experience in UML, Web application development, or SaaS technologies
• 8+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, Python, C#, C++)
• 8+ years of experience in business application design and software performance analysis
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading agile/scrum teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Proficiency with JSON, REST, and GraphQL
• Strong knowledge of key design patterns in object-oriented development
• Experience developing applications that prioritize usability and configurability
