Senior Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Mentor and inspire a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high code quality
• Architect next-generation frontend applications and micro-frontends
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to integrate features seamlessly
• Drive architectural decisions and promote modern engineering best practices
• Monitor and optimize application performance across various devices and browsers
• Represent the company at conferences and through technical blog posts to showcase innovation

Requirements

• BE/BTech in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on React
• Expertise in modern JavaScript (ESNext) and TypeScript
• Proficiency in CSS techniques including SCSS, CSS Modules, or CSS-in-JS
• Experience with Webpack and other build tools/bundlers
• Proven track record in performance profiling and optimization using tools like Lighthouse or React Profiler
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience speaking at technical conferences or contributing to open-source projects
• Experience writing technical content or blog posts
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
