Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance scalable test automation frameworks and implement automated test suites
• Drive quality improvements by recommending enhancements to automation design and execution processes
• Lead and mentor QA analysts, developers, and testers on automation and performance testing strategies
• Develop, maintain, and debug automated test scripts while communicating execution results
• Evaluate new tools and frameworks through POCs to recommend optimal automation solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and project managers to ensure high-quality software delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing automation frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong coding skills with experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (open-source or commercial)
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and test management practices
• Experience using version control systems and defect tracking tools
• Understanding of cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and system architecture concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
