Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies across UI, API, and backend systems
• Build, maintain, and scale robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to define test coverage and quality goals
• Improve quality engineering practices by introducing new standards, tools, and processes
• Develop reusable test utilities, APIs, and libraries to improve automation efficiency
• Partner with infrastructure teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
• Analyze test results and identify root causes of defects to drive timely resolution
• Advocate for a shift-left testing approach throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software testing
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API test automation
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with Selenium and/or Appium
• Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL, or gRPC
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and Docker
• Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD practices, and test methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Test or development experience on non-PC devices (mobile, consoles, etc.)
• Experience with React Native
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed system testing
• Experience with performance, load, and scalability testing tools
