Senior Software Development Engineer (Apps)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast, safe, and automated deployments
• Administer and maintain applications and tools such as Atlassian Jira and static analysis tools
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and cloud environment management
• Build internal tools and manage scripts to improve engineering workflows
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong development skills
• Proficiency in CI/CD and version control tools including GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration and network services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application administration for JIRA and Artifactory
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps technologies
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
