Senior Software Development Engineer - AOSP

JioTesseract is the AR/VR arm of Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom network. Our mission is to make mixed reality accessible to everyone by making JioGlass affordable and bringing meaningful content and use-cases to consumers and enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Operating System platforms and solutions for the Mixed Reality ecosystem
• Translate low-level business requirements into technology execution
• Collaborate with architects and engineering managers to deliver scalable and modular libraries and tools

Requirements

• Experience developing and deploying a consumer operating system based on AOSP
• Deep knowledge of Android Framework Layer, including HAL, HIDL, and AIDL (Binder)
• Proficiency in C/C++ (C++11 or higher) or Java (8 or 15)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Android camera development (BSP, HAL, V4L2, or ISP)
• Experience with Android display pipeline and graphics (OpenGLES, SurfaceFlinger, or Gralloc)
• Experience with Android audio modules (ALSA, Audio HAL, or AudioFlinger)
