Senior Software Development Engineer - Android

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship mobile app features, user flows, and UI components that integrate ambient AI capabilities
• Partner with product, design, and AI teams to create robust, maintainable features
• Drive improvements in code quality, maintainability, and app performance
• Mentor peers and elevate mobile development standards
• Work with modern Android and React Native tools to prototype and iterate on new ideas

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 4+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 4+ years of experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Experience shipping high-quality apps to the Google Play Store
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Kotlin

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• Experience building AI-first products
• Experience working with BLE peripherals
