Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop tools for next generation manufacturing systems including automated process control and robotics
• Perform technical support for testing to improve productivity, quality, and cost
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US, Japan, and Asia on automation and analytics infrastructure
• Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including releases and process instructions
• Analyze, design, and develop modifications to existing systems to enhance performance
• Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs across different teams
• Research and recommend appropriate technologies to meet user needs
• Train and develop other software analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a software analyst or in a related function
• Proficiency in Golang, JavaScript, Python, Java, or C++
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Good command of English

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HDD manufacturing or the electronics industry
• Knowledge of HDD processes and technology
• Experience with automation and robotic systems
• Knowledge of databases, system security, and troubleshooting
• Experience with data analytics including ETL, data structures, and ML
