About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C#, Playwright, and SpecFlow
  • Lead automation efforts for web-based applications and mobile applications across Android, iOS, and Windows platforms
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Enterprise and Jenkins
  • Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring thorough testing and validation through automated scripts
  • Utilize SQL and stored procedures to validate back-end processes and data integrity
  • Create and maintain PowerShell and batch scripts to support automation and deployment
  • Mentor and guide junior SDETs, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Conduct regression, security, performance, compatibility, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in C# or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Extensive experience with Playwright for web automation and Appium for mobile automation
  • Strong expertise in SpecFlow for Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
  • Proficiency in SQL, including writing and validating complex queries and stored procedures
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise (GHE), CI/CD integration, and Visual Studio
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell and batch scripting
  • Strong understanding of QA processes and the ability to design comprehensive test strategies
  • Experience using Microsoft Test Manager, ADO, or Jira

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience mentoring junior team members and leading automation projects
  • Familiarity with Xcode and UI Automator on macOS
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing and deployment platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
