Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop new functionalities for the 5G Core Network and User Plane
• Work within a cross-functional, multinational team to build real-time and high-availability systems
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirement analysis, coding, testing, and deployment
• Investigate and debug complex issues, including performance tuning and core dump analysis
• Support customer teams during final deployment on live networks

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in C programming
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell/Bash on UNIX/Linux environments
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and transport protocols (e.g., QUIC, HTTP, HTTPS)
• Familiarity with cloud-native software stacks and containerization technologies like Docker
• Ability to model scalable designs and understand operating system architectures
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Linux user and network administrator skills
• Experience with mobile network architectures (4G/5G), including interfaces and protocols
• Proficiency in C++ or Golang
• Knowledge of Link-layer protocols such as ARP, ND, and BFD
