Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Build and own automated tests and feature test suites (end-to-end, integration)
• Validate features in real time during the sprint, partnering tightly with developers
• Hand off maintainable feature test code to Systems Test Engineers
• Build SW-based mocks/simulators for hardware to prevent testing gates
• Develop tooling and infrastructure for the QA organization
• Review designs and PRs for testability

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing production-quality code in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Deep experience in automated test infrastructure (Playwright, pytest, Jest)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to debug networked/distributed systems
• Must be able to work onsite in Glen Cove, NY 5 days/week

Preferred Qualifications

• Hardware-in-the-loop or system-level testing experience
• Embedded systems or real-time applications experience
• Knowledge of ROS2, Docker, or robotics software stacks
