Senior Software Developer - Civil 3D

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex features across desktop applications, components, and cloud services
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to implement proposed designs and prototype production-grade software
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and system stability
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical proficiency within the team
• Actively contribute to the integration of AI technologies into products and workflows
• Participate in scaled Scrum teams using Agile and LEAN methodologies to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering or an equivalent field
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale software development, including multiple commercial development cycles
• Proficiency in C++ and extensive experience using Visual Studio toolsets
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD)
• Proven experience in performance tuning, debugging, and system analysis
• Experience working within scaled Scrum teams and collaborating across multiple groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
• Experience with C#, .NET, or Python
• Background or education in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
• Familiarity with computational geometry or cloud services and web technologies
• Practical experience with AI technologies, frameworks, or platforms
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or SQLite
