Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain extensions and customizations for Dynamics 365 Commerce and Finance & Operations (C# backend, TypeScript/HTML POS client)
• Build and support integrations connecting retail systems with e-commerce, order management, and other business platforms via REST APIs, OData, and enterprise messaging patterns
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in the retail technology stack; own system stability and performance
• Design and build microservices, APIs, and full-stack applications beyond the ERP—internal tools, workflow automation, line-of-business mobile apps, and operational dashboards
• Develop and optimize data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric using PySpark, Delta Lake, and Python notebooks
• Partner with the Business Analyst to translate functional requirements into technical designs and deliver tested, production-ready solutions
• Write clear technical documentation and work directly with business stakeholders to understand context and validate solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated ability to own and deliver complex projects independently
• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET and at least one of TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs, working with relational and/or document databases, and deploying to cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Track record of supporting production systems you’ve built long-term
• Demonstrated ability to learn new platforms, frameworks, and business domains quickly
• Clear communication skills; able to discuss technical tradeoffs with non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, Finance & Operations, or legacy AX development (X++, Retail SDK, Commerce Scale Unit)
• Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, or Spark-based data pipeline development
• Mobile development experience (Flutter preferred, or React Native / native iOS/Android)
• Modern frontend framework experience (React, Angular, or similar)
• Containerization and CI/CD pipeline experience (Docker, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Experience working customer-side and owning systems in production long-term
