Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex features across desktop applications, components, and cloud services
• Own major software components from initial design through to final delivery
• Collaborate with product owners, experience designers, and management to implement proposed designs
• Prototype and maintain production-grade software and components
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and system stability
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough code reviews to elevate team proficiency
• Drive continuous improvement using Agile and LEAN methodologies within a Scrum team
• Explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies, including AI, to add value to customer workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering or an equivalent field
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale software development, including multiple commercial development cycles
• Advanced programming skills in C++ and extensive experience with Visual Studio toolsets
• Demonstrated proficiency in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD)
• Proven experience in performance tuning, debugging, and system analysis
• Experience working within scaled Scrum teams collaborating on shared deliverables
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
• Experience with C#, .NET, or Python
• Background or education in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
• Familiarity with computational geometry
• Experience with cloud services, web technologies, and databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite)
• Practical experience with AI technologies, frameworks, or platforms
