Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Write testable, readable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with engineers on technical and architectural designs
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on technical designs
• Troubleshoot operational issues using distributed logging and tracing
• Support internal development teams by answering questions and creating sample code
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on backend software development experience in Go, Python, or Java
• 4+ years of experience leveraging public cloud infrastructure components like compute, caches, and databases
• Experience building and operating production services
• Experience working with and deploying containers
• Strong self-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building applications on AWS using services such as ECS/EKS, Step Functions, or Lambda
• Experience with Agile software development practices
• Good understanding of networking and security concepts
