Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software and web applications using the .NET framework and C#
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in design and code reviews
• Modernize legacy applications using contemporary Microsoft technologies
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures
• Support automated data ingestion processes and manage structured data formats like JSON and XML
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Troubleshoot production data issues and perform root cause analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience with C# and the .NET framework
• 3+ years of professional experience with SQL Server database design and optimization
• Experience with web application development using ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud-based technologies
• Ability to work at least half of a scheduled shift to coincide with US Central Time business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SDLC methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
