Senior Software Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and further develop software for the helicopter platform, ground station, and simulators
• Work primarily with the ground station developed in .NET, C#, and WPF
• Design and implement new features in collaboration with system and test teams
• Develop and improve automated test cases to ensure quality
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase through bug fixing and further development
• Contribute to technical design decisions and architectural discussions
• Mentor and train junior developers

Requirements

• University degree in software development, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in software development using .NET and C#
• Strong understanding of software design and system development in complex environments
• Proficiency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• Experience with WPF is a merit
• Experience with test automation and/or CI/CD is a merit
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Strong collaborative skills within a cross-functional team
