About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform cyber CSXSAST scanning to identify software package vulnerabilities
- Evaluate CVEs and provide vulnerability assessments to Cyber Security teams
- Support TRMC, TENA, and CHEETAS architectures through technical analysis
- Provide recommendations for code corrections and assist in generating POAMs
- Perform ASD STIGs on development environments
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop technical designs for new product development
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of software development experience, specifically with .NET, REST APIs, and web technologies
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and C#
- Experience using CXSAST tools to determine package vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
- Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira and collaboration tools like Confluence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in government or defense laboratory environments
- Knowledge of TENA, CHEETAS, or JMETC architectures
- Experience with major DoD Acquisition programs (e.g., JSF or MDA)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible
- Understanding of software architecture, microservices, and security testing practices (STIG/ATO)
