Senior Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end mathematical and statistical architecture of complex AI systems, from data integration to model monitoring
• Design scalable, robust, and secure AI models and algorithms grounded in first-principles mathematical design
• Translate complex business problems into formal mathematical, statistical, and agentic models
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced deep learning models such as transformers, state-space, and diffusion models
• Optimize models and pipelines for speed, scalability, and compute efficiency using techniques like pruning and quantization
• Act as a technical mentor and thought leader for AI engineers, scientists, and software developers
• Evaluate and evolve AI frameworks, libraries, and cloud platforms to drive innovation

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in applied mathematics, statistical modeling, and deep learning systems
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML libraries
• Proven experience architecting and deploying AI solutions in production environments
• Deep expertise in linear algebra, multivariate calculus, probability theory, and optimization
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and system design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional programming languages such as Scala, Kotlin, or Rust
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed or high-performance computing environments
