About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead social-first strategy for Dove, developing content strategies, campaign platforms, and always-on frameworks
- Mine consumer, cultural, and category insight to identify opportunities for meaningful social presence
- Translate platform data, social listening, and audience research into actionable creative briefs
- Develop audience and community strategies to deepen connection with diverse audiences
- Partner with creative teams to shape ideas from brief through to execution
- Collaborate with social media managers to align recommendations with publishing plans
- Inform creator and influencer strategy and partnership opportunities
- Present strategic thinking and campaign recommendations to brand stakeholders
- Analyse social performance data and campaign results to refine strategy
- Mentor and develop junior strategists within the studio
- Shape strategic processes and tools including briefing templates and insight frameworks
Requirements
- 8+ years of strategy experience with a focus on social-first or digital-first work for consumer brands
- Deep understanding of social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Track record of developing effective, measurable social campaigns
- Experience in beauty, personal care, wellness, or FMCG
- Proven ability to turn research and data into actionable strategic frameworks
- Experience working with or briefing content creators and influencer partnerships
- Strong analytical skills using social listening tools and platform analytics
- Proficiency with Gen AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity
- Professional proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on Dove or Unilever brands
- Multi-market or global brand strategy experience
- Experience in a social-specialist, in-house, or embedded agency environment
- Familiarity with social commerce or community management strategy
- Experience with brand purpose, inclusion, or social impact strategy
