Senior SOC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand all project features and define milestones based on internal roadmaps using an agile framework
• Define and develop system-level methodologies, tools, and IPs to build subsystems efficiently and scalably
• Work with the SOC Assembly team to drive cross-functional teams toward milestone execution
• Integrate all components for defined project milestones and deliver models for verification at cluster, subsystem, SOC, and emulation levels

Requirements

• BS or MS in a related field with 4+ years of practical semiconductor design and architecture experience building complex SoCs
• Solid understanding of all SoC development phases, including architecture, micro-architecture, RTL design, verification, timing closure, and physical design
• Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and experience with Cadence or equivalent simulation and debug tools
• Experience defining HW/SW interfaces, including control/status registers, interrupts, and error handling
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python/scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical leadership experience delivering complex SoCs for enterprise or HPC applications
• Experience in RTL coding, debug, and performance/power/area analysis and trade-offs
• Prior experience with smartNICs or high-speed interconnects
• Experience in synthesis, physical design, DFT, or RTL build and design automation
