Senior Site Reliability Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and operational oversight to ensure the high availability and resiliency of critical real-time trading platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a globally distributed team of SRE technologists across European and APAC time zones.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for production incidents, coordinating triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Drive automation initiatives for system health monitoring, alerts, and remediations using Python and other tools.
• Manage platform configuration, capacity planning, and the implementation of new features based on business requirements.
• Execute agile-based processes such as Kanban and Scrum to manage team workloads and project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven technical leadership experience managing engineering or operations teams.
• Proficiency in UNIX Shell and SQL for data mining and log analysis.
• Programming proficiency in Python, C++, or a similar language.
• Strong background in Systems, Network, or Database administration.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for global stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Multicast.
• Familiarity with European markets and US equities, options, or futures market structures.
