Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and code reviews
• Identify and implement solutions to improve platform reliability and create operational playbooks
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and blameless post-mortems
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response
• Ensure scalability and efficiency of cloud infrastructure
• Conduct performance tests to identify and remediate bottlenecks
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code
• Monitor, review, and tune databases for high availability
• Collaborate with product engineering to design observable software
• Define Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Objectives (SLOs), and Agreements (SLAs)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
• 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering
• 1+ years of experience working on a SaaS platform
• Proficient experience in PHP development
• Production experience with Kubernetes
• Proficiency with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Proven track record of maintaining highly-available production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy)
• Cloud platform or Kubernetes certifications
• Experience in database management and performance tuning, particularly MSSQL
