Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of the SolarWinds Observability (SWO) platform across AWS and GCP environments
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define infrastructure, deployment, and operability requirements
• Drive automation and observability initiatives, including best practices for metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, leading incident response and coordinating resolutions
• Establish and manage SLOs and error budgets to guide reliability investments
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows and CI/CD best practices to maximize release velocity
• Conduct postmortems to drive continuous improvement and prevent issue recurrence

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and maintaining SaaS environments
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP using Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Proven experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters in production
• Strong background in observability (monitoring, logging, tracing, and metrics)
• Practical experience with GitOps CI/CD tooling such as Argo CD or Flux
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with cloud security operations, including IAM, encryption, and security policies
