Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure to minimize operational disruption
• Provide technical support to resolve complex issues and develop improved service models
• Execute preventative maintenance on hardware and software using monitoring metrics
• Analyze system logs and error messages to identify and resolve root causes of hardware, software, and network issues
• Implement automation to reduce manual toil and improve system scalability and reliability
• Enhance observability, capacity management, and business continuity processes
• Identify and remediate potential service-impacting risks and strengthen controls
• Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through complex technical tasks

Requirements

• Extensive expertise with on-premise Linux/Unix or Windows systems
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and Shell/Bash
• Strong knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Elastic, Geneous ITRS, or Grafana)
• Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of ITIL principles
