Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of container infrastructure using Kubernetes to ensure high availability and security
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions
• Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform to scale the platform across regions
• Develop application-level knowledge to influence infrastructure requirements for Developers and QA teams
• Perform advanced monitoring and troubleshooting of the infrastructure and application stack to drive root cause analysis
• Serve as a primary on-call responder for critical incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews

Requirements

• Extensive experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering with a track record of increasing responsibility
• Expert-level understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferred), including networking and security
• Exceptional programming and scripting skills in Python and Bash
• Broad expertise with UNIX/Linux internals, including performance tuning and system administration
• Extensive experience with containerization and Kubernetes cluster management
• Proficient experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Sumologic
• Deep expertise with Terraform and managing complex, large-scale cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to significant systems automation tooling or open-source projects
• Exposure to industry practices within financial services
• Proficiency in Java
