Senior Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct subcontractor partners to safely deliver work packages including groundworks, drainage, structural frame erection, roofing, cladding, and interior fit-out
• Ensure quality is maintained to Kier standards through effective supervision of subcontractors and site staff
• Coordinate site logistics, including the movement of plant and labour, while maintaining strict safety protocols
• Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements from subcontractors to ensure safe and appropriate working methods
• Create, log, and file accurate site reports and paperwork in a timely manner

Requirements

• Prior management experience within a large construction environment working for a main contractor
• Strong technical understanding of building construction with the ability to provide practical solutions to challenges
• Relevant construction qualifications (HND, Degree, SVQ, or Technical Trade)
• SMSTS 5 Day Certification
• Valid CSCS Card and First Aid Certificate
• Full driving licence
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and the supply chain
