Senior Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure sub-contractor partners deliver work packages (groundworks, drainage, structural frame, roofing, cladding, and interior fit out) safely and to quality standards
• Review risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe and appropriate working methods
• Coordinate site logistics and the movement of plant and labour around the site while maintaining safety
• Delegate duties to the site management team and manage the development of junior Kier staff
• Create, log, and file site reports accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within the construction industry and a main contracting environment
• Strong communication and influencing skills to build relationships with on-site sub-contractors
• Sound understanding of safe site operations and technical knowledge of various construction packages
• Relevant construction qualification (HND, Degree, SVQ, or Technical Trade)
• SMSTS 5 Day Certificate and CSCS Card
• First Aid certification
