About the role
Responsibilities
- Guide the team technically and administratively on-site
- Study architectural and structural drawings
- Carry out detailed visual inspections of steel structures
- Coordinate with team members regarding work status
- Collect and record data using approved checklists
- Attend plant-specific safety training
- Prepare checklists, datasheets, and compilations for all structures
- Prepare comprehensive draft reports including NDT inference
- Recommend suitable techno-commercial and economical repair or strengthening methodologies
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Prepare distress mapping drawings and final reports including specifications of works
Requirements
- Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar for 2.5 months
- Ability to work from Navi Mumbai HO for 2-3 months post-deputation
- Expertise in structural inspection and NDT reporting
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and BOQs
