Senior Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site and assist Project Managers with daily progress reports.
• Oversee the installation and testing of engineering services, including water supply, wastewater, electrical, HVAC, firefighting, medical gases, and security systems.
• Manage the commissioning of engineering services systems to ensure integrated functionality.
• Maintain accurate site diaries and testing results.
• Verify that all installed engineering services and controls comply with the Works Contract agreement.
• Ensure the availability of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals for all installed systems.
• Liaise with authorities regarding utility relocation and securing necessary supplies for facility operations.
• Conduct field inspections on contractor setting out, including points, lines, and levels of reference.
• Measure and value contractor work output to verify statements.

Requirements

• Graduate civil engineer with at least 8 years of on-site experience, OR Diploma civil engineer with at least 12 years of on-site experience.
• Proven experience in the construction of hospitals, hotels, or institutional buildings.
• Experience in the renovation and rehabilitation of building works.
