Senior Signal Processing Researcher

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques for HF communications including signal detection, channel equalization, and geolocation
• Apply cutting-edge signal processing techniques to solve complex HF propagation challenges for national security missions
• Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and deploy prototype systems
• Document and present technical products to a community of scientists and subject matter experts
• Work with program leadership to align efforts with company priorities

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• PhD, MS, or BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience on RF programs involving advanced signal and data-processing algorithm development
• Experience in at least two areas: RF signal processing, HF propagation, adaptive signal processing, algorithm development, system model & simulation, or geolocation
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
• Strong mathematical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics
• Experience with HF propagation modes and underlying physics
• Understanding of end-to-end signal processing chains
• Demonstrated ownership of complex research and engineering efforts
