Senior Show Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical systems and equipment used in live shows, including lifts, turntables, and special effects
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime during performances
• Collaborate with show directors, stage managers, and other technicians to coordinate technical requirements
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all technical operations
• Participate in rehearsals and technical run-throughs to support show readiness
• Assist in the setup and teardown of mechanical systems for special events and performances

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a live entertainment or theatrical environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
