Senior SHEQ Advisor

Responsibilities

• Undertake periodic risk assessments and implement robust procedures
• Provide specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues and subcontractors
• Ensure contract compliance and embed positive safety behaviours within operational teams
• Coach and motivate personnel to achieve safety goals
• Develop and deliver innovative training and briefing materials
• Recommend preventative actions and coordinate new safety initiatives

Requirements

• NEBOSH Diploma
• Considerable construction and water industry SHEQ experience
• Full UK driving license
• Experience in auditing and root cause analysis
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations (Client, Principal Designer & Principal Contractor roles)
• Proven ability to influence at all organisational levels
