Senior SHAREM Exercise Planner

Responsibilities

• Coordinate objectives, plans, and logistics for naval undersea warfare exercises with external operational staff
• Develop and draft Test Plans/OPORD, Data Collection Plans, and Analysis Plans
• Participate in planning conferences to support upcoming exercises
• Assist ships' companies during exercises to ensure execution of plans and collection of pertinent data
• Communicate exercise results through oral and written reports to naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices
• Provide technical insight during ad hoc workshops and conferences

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of US Navy experience
• 4+ years of experience in planning naval undersea warfare (USW) exercises involving multiple ships or units
• Active Secret security clearance
• Ability to travel 0-20% on average
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical discipline
• Proficiency in preparing technically correct reports and correspondence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other common productivity software
