Senior Settlements Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide clearing back office support to investment advisors and their clients
• Support escalations to resolution and provide feedback to management and product partners
• Review daily trade reports from FIS/Phase 3 and external communications to rectify breaks
• Handle P&S inquiries and corrections
• Process trade comparisons and corrections using FIS/Phase 3
• Perform fixed income trade comparisons in FICC CMU and reporting in FINRA TRANCE and MSRB RTRS Web
• Investigate and resolve trade, cash, and position reconciliation issues
• Support DTCC Settlement functions including Buy-Ins, Obligation Warehouse, and RECAPS
• Review fail exposure and report to senior regulatory management teams
• Reconcile daily possession and control issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in back office operations, specifically trade clearance and settlements for a self-clearing broker dealer
• FINRA Series 99 (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Expert knowledge of DTC, NSCC, Obligation Warehouse, SMART Track, and DTCC suite applications
• Experience with settlement, buy-in, fail control, and/or seg
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
